Our core value is to protect our local environment by taking responsibility for the recycling of wood material from industry. Our vision is to protect and promote flora and fauna in our local ecosystems by working with industry to widen active environmental participation.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

I began my business from unemployment in October 2013 whilst researching that 8.5 million tons of waste wood ended up in landfill in the U.K each year which equated to 85% of the total amount. I felt if I could in any way reduce that amount it would have to be done on a local level whereby the waste wood would have to be channelled back into industry. I thus formed a business that provided a bespoke wood recycling service to small local businesses in Erdington and Nechells which involved recycling their waste wood and maintaining their outdoor premises.

This took a further direction when we were called to DHL Tyrefort who supply Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich and thus began to recycle on an industrial level. This took a while and initially most of the wood was taken to the larger wood recyclers in Birmingham. Now however other channels have been established and products are being made from the waste material. These mainly include bespoke pallets but recently we have started to manufacture wooden packaging cases such as enclosed boxes and open crates.

We have recently concluded an agreement with East End Foods plc to manufacture and supply an order of bespoke pallets for their company. We also manufacture wooden packaging material in the form of palletised cargo crates and bespoke logistic boxes. Examples of our products can be viewed in the product section. We also offer waste management services on request that enable companies to comply with ISO 14001.

After two years since forming the business we have recycled locally a total of ca.900,000kg (July 2016) of wood and not one kilogram has entered in to landfill. We are very proud to be part of the recent environmental success which has seen waste wood being sent nationally to landfill reduced to 50% in 2015.
